Meet Phil Greep
Peregrine Property Services was established and is run by Phil, an experienced carpenter and tiler with a passion for quality workmanship and getting the details right.
Phil works closely with a trusted team of experienced tradespeople, allowing the business to take on everything from individual carpentry, tiling and flooring projects to complete bathroom, kitchen and home renovations.
The aim is simple: to provide a reliable, professional service, with quality workmanship and clear communication from the initial enquiry through to completion.
I started my career in 1988, going straight from school into full-time work as a carpenter and joiner with a shopfitting company. After the company went into liquidation, I returned to the building trade to complete my apprenticeship, combining practical experience with college.
I gained my City & Guilds, City & Guilds Advanced and NVQ Level 3 qualifications before going on to broaden my experience across the building trade. I worked in painting and decorating at the local dockyard before spending 11 years as a multi-skilled tradesman, gaining experience in carpentry, tiling, plastering, plumbing, basic electrical work and general building.
In 2009, I took the step into self-employment and founded Peregrine Property Services together with my good friend and former colleague, Michael. We had previously worked together for 11 years, during which time we built a strong friendship and mutual respect for each other's skills.
Michael was a time-served painter and decorator with more than 40 years' experience in the trade. As he approached retirement, we worked together for the first three years of Peregrine Property Services, with Michael helping me establish and develop the business before eventually retiring.
The experience, knowledge and high standards we shared during those years helped lay the foundations for the business I continue to run today.
A Trusted Team
For larger projects, I work closely with my trusted associate Nigel, a qualified gas engineer and plumber with extensive experience across multiple trades.
Like myself, Nigel takes great pride in his workmanship and works to a very high standard. His previous career as a firefighter also brings a strong focus on responsibility, safety and professionalism.
When a project requires additional specialist skills, we also have access to a trusted network of experienced tradespeople, including plasterers and electricians. This allows us to bring the right people into the project when needed, while maintaining the same high standards throughout.
Together, we combine our skills, experience and trusted contacts to provide a comprehensive service, particularly on larger bathroom, kitchen and home renovation projects.
